I know it is difficult. both amps are great, but i don't know if i should wait for the new pt100 or order a marsha. I'm in no hurry, I own a vh4 and the herbert but I would like to get one more amp.

There no longer is a amp named "Marsha" being made.

Marsha,.....eh Friedman, Dave's Brown Eye for sure. Especially considering the other amps you have. It will fill a nice hole

I like this topic and its something I contemplate as well...

I'd actually wait for the the new PT-100 coming next NAMM to make the comparison...

My next amp to complement my Diezel Einstein will be one of the following

Cameron CCV
Friedman
Suhr PT-100
Bogner 20th XTC

of course people here will tell you to buy the friedman

If you think I should. Buy the Friedman.

I have played both and personally like the Marsha better BUT the Pt100 is an incredibly good amp. I would say it depends on what you want....super hot rodded Marshall with Friedman or pretty good Marshall tones and a bit more flexibility with the pt100. I freaking love the marsha

I wonder what Pete Thorn thinks. He uses both amps pretty extensively. Although it would be kind of akward for him to go with the Marsha having the a signature amp

Both are AWESOME AMPS, but there's just sumpthin about Dave's amps that do it for me.
