I've owned my studio Pre for almost 28 years. I bring it out now and then for stuff and then she returns to the closet. This sounds really good. I have all the pieces of gear (minus the torpedo) that you have here. Never tried my Maxon with it. You setting on the pre are same as mine, save for my treble rides at 8 to 9 instead of dimed, but damn, you've inspired me to pull her out again. Now to decide on whether my 2:90 or 395 gets the nod; and if I need to purchase the torpedo live or not.

Remember its not only the Studio Pre but also the 2:Fifty that makes a substantial part of the sound as well as the high quality D.I. tracks by Lasse.
You should check eb**, the Studio Pre is almost always and every time offered
