MXR Dyna Comp

I had one. Liked what it did a lot but it introduced a lot of hiss when it was on. Bought the MXR Custom comp and I love it. No noise and great compression.
 
I've had one at two different times. I liked it, but for me, I opted for the Homebrew CPR. Less hiss than the Dyna Comp for my taste.
 
Didn't work for me, I like only a bit of comp and I couldn't gain the gain structure high enough with the comp set lower. Both the Wampler and Suhr have no issue with this.
 
How would the Xotic SP Compressor compare to the MXR Dyna Comp.
 
mine cause very high freq problem when on a board with other effects. this is through a PA in a room that seats about 100. amp was mic'd. soon as i took t out of the chain, noise gone.
