What a beast.
The Masters work great so it doesn't need to be at ear splitting volumes
to give up the goods.
The Black Cat mod on the clean channel should be a standard on all Wizard amps.

Hybird front end really gives you a lot of tone variations.
Running two 4x12's opens the amp up and lets it breath.
The KT120's put out enough heat that I'll be wearing Cargo shorts/ Black socks with sandal's
and a " Free Shemp" tee shirt all winter long.

Ok,
Back to the grind (of 200 watts that is)

So sick. Is it voice more like an MCII with the knob layout of the MTL?

Others might need to chime in but I think it's a split between the two.
Lot of character from the MTL with the saturation eq .
You can really shape it with the MCII voiced knobs.

Man, that sounded like a bunch of jibberish...lol

any chance of clips for us mere mortals? 200watt wiz should really kick ya in the dick

A 100 watt Wizard...Meh, that's ok. 200 watts? Everyone needs one of those. I want to play it and I want to play it NOW!

Just because it's 200 watts doesn't make it uncontrollable.
It's kicks Godzilla in the dick for sure .

Just sold a Fryette D120 that was just so loud it wasnt fun.
The Wizard just rips at volumes below 10 o'clock .
To bad it didnt have the Plexi 4 cab outs ...lol

I hear ya. My KT150 MCII sounds and feels great at home volumes. And just gets better from there. Probably even better than my MC25 at the same volumes. Just massive.

Agreed on the D120...D120 series II I had went back real quick.

The E34L Hybrid was for sure wicked, but it still lacked certain frequencies in the upper mids that give the MCII it's grind. It was oh so close and I could have been completely happy had I not owned several other MCIIs to compare. I did LOVE what the sat knob did on the hybrid and pulling both boost knobs on the Rhythm ch increased gain on the lead on the Hybrid I had. In essence it had 3 pull boosts for the lead.

Hell,
They could do a 1 channel amp out of the Rhythm channel from this amp.
Just add the pull boost ,Mid shift ,Black Cat mod and naked pictures of Bea Arthur on the faceplate
and it's a done deal.

Большое спасибо! Я узнал масса информации на сём онлайн-форуме! Так держать.
