Opinions on Renegade & Tweaker 40

I purchased a TM212X cab to go with my Marshall JVM and love the way it sounds. So now I'm interested in picking up an Egnater head. I can't really go and try them out so I'm wondering what the consensus is. The Renegade would match my cab, but the Tweaker looks like it's more fun to play around with. Is one better than the other? What's the word?

I really like my Renegade. I am not as familiar with the Tweaker, but what I have heard hasn't impressed me as much.

I've also noticed that there was a Renegade 50 prior to the current 65 watt version. Is there any discernible difference between those models?

There is no Renegade 50. It was initially supposed to be 50 watts, but for some reason Bruce decided to pump it up to 65. All Renegade models are 65/18, no 50 watt model was ever actually released.

renegade is a bit more polite and contemporary sounding- I think the rebel and tweaker have a bit more raw rock sound-which I like better-all good choices.
