He asked me the same on PM as well, so I saw that first and answered there, below the message 
1) Can I use the HP for a Line out signal to accomplish W/D/W with off board gear, or is it too low?
Headphones driver are good for high impedance as well, so it would be ok, I would only suggest to not use a mono jack but instead a stereo one to avoid short on one channel.
2) Can the pitch shift be tuned to the EVH style micro pitch detune, ie: +/- 9 cents L/R?
Sure, you can have up to 4 independent shift with cents resolution, as well as Whammy mode with expression pedal (not in the manual yet).
Please note however that VHX is not stereo!
