This is a 2014 BE100 before Dave Friedman partnered with BAD and he hand made/assembled his amps.
Pre-BAD (Boutique Amp Distribution) loaded with Mallory caps before he moved over to BADs Senergy caps. All turret board construction, no hybrid PCB/turret like current Friedman amps.
Only update that was done, was the NFB (negative feedback) update where the purple wire is moved from the speaker jack to the 4 ohm tap. Before, it was more smooth and refined. With the update, it’s more punchy and aggressive.
Has the voicing switch that was to emulate Eddie Van Halen’s last gain stage on his 12301 plexi.
Low hours on tubes, no issues, sounds remarkable. Not pictured but I do have the original stock knobs $2750 shipped
