hey guys...i posted these on the HCAF, but thought some of you might be looking for Uberschall clips as well. dont expect any "shock and awe" playing here, im definitely a rhythm player.

Signal Chain is:

Zakk Wylde Bullseye Gibson Custom Shop --> Uberschall Rev. 2 --> Uberschall 4x12

The Dual Rec atop the Uber is on, but not in the signal chain. Neither of the Mesa cabs are in the signal chain...just pure Bogner goodness for these clips.

Uber Rev 2 - Various Distortion Tones:

Uber Rev 2 - Sunshine of Your Love

These are only meant to give people a sense for what the distortion tones sound like, and how flexible the uber can be within the realm of high gain.

let me know what you think of the sound overall. ive listened to these so many times, its hard to tell how much of the uber sound really comes through. i think its just about impossible to capture any amps live sound, especially with just the mic built into the digital camera i was using.

EMG's sound great with the Uber, more edge to the palm mute than I could get with passives good job

Dude, those clips in the first video sound awesome! Sunshine sounds a bit stiff in the beginning, but it's not bad by any means. I have an Uber and I never could understand how people could say they're a one setting/sound amp  . It may not be the most versatile amp, but you just proved that once you figure the beast out you can get more than your fair share of tones from it. Rock on

Yeap, that's how uber sounds with EMGs. That's was pretty good demo of Uber. I'd add some more lower gain clips, when recording I generally don't pass 12' on gain.
However I didn't like the tone you have dialed on your clean channel.

thanks for the kind words. i actually didnt use the clean channel for any of the sounds. im guessing you're referring to the mid-gain sound in the beginning of the "sunshine" clip. all i did there was set the guitar to the neck pickup (emg 85), with its volume turned down...probably 1/2 way or so. to switch to the hotter sound, i just flipped the pickup selector to the bridge (emg 81) pickup with its volume wide open. just as a side note, both pickups' tone controls were wide open...i never turn them down. i leave it up the amps EQ to handle the high end adjustments.

its funny you mention adding some lower gain clips. just this morning, i was telling myself that these clips would be more helpful for some if there were some tones with the gain between 9:00 and 1:00. it really doesnt get much mellower than an AC/DC type sound unless you attenuate the guitar volume. it can be very versatile, you just have to be willing to work the amp. if youre willing to do that, the uber can make tons of useful (and killer) tones.

One thing you should try is to work with Presence of Uber more. Presence of uber works sort of like midcut on HERBERT, not as versatile as midcut on Herbert ;)

Excellent demo ! I like it when you knowingly say,"....lots of bass and WAY too much gain " LOL

Wish I still had my Uber.

It would be cool to hear some more mid pronounced, slightly lower gain sounds like Motorhead or other NWOBHM stuff.

I personally liked the neck pickup, Cream tone. It represented good dynamics in the Uber.

i thought that sounded bad ass!

nice job!

do a recto demo sometime =]

thanks for the responses, guys...and heres a bump for the monday crew.

I own the same amp and can definately say, "YOU CANNOT GO WRONG OWNING AN UBERSCHALL!!!" That's a great demo of the amp. One thing for sure, the bass is much fuller and stronger than what that camcorder mic is picking up. The amp truely stays tight as you crank the gain, but the power section has some beautifull compression going on as you crank the master. The different tones you can dial in just by turning the presence knob is great, it is more of a mid sweep than it is a high end presence. I'm not really sure why Bogner made the Rev Blue tone brighter, the original and Rev 2 amps can get bright enough as it is.

Cool clips, thanks.

Personally I totally love the brightness of blue revision, I can even get some tones that don't even sound like a guitar. There is not a single thing that I'd want to be changed tonally in both channels. What I'd like to add would be 3rd(2nd) midgain channel & second power amp gain knob like the one on Herbert. Now that would kick some massive ass.

Sounds great! Would like to hear more, some less gain Marshall vibe and some clean stuff.
