A preamp tube popped? When the amp is on, check all preamps to see if they're somewhat equally lit. But this is weird - is it DEAD quiet? Any hiss? Any anything??

thanks a lotMARK2C":3ha6wdqu said:Sure, try swapping V1 with V2. If channel 2 works, you know it's a bad v1. There is a 50/50 chance Channel 4 will or will not work then if the tube in V2 has a bad triode.
V2 uses only half of the tube.
