Hey Guys,

This is the place for Engl amps on Rig-Talk. From time to time we will have Engl artists and the boys from Germany check in and answer questions. If you have an Engl amp post it up here. :rock:

I own an ENGL Screamer 50 combo, but I'm not really here on RT.
This is my first post. :D
 
I'm a Morse owner and loving every minute of it!


P.S. stoked that there's an ENGL spot somewhere again ever since lordriffenstein closed up shop I've had no where to go :D
 
I've owned most of the high gain Engls out there. Currently rocking a Powerball II in my original band.
 
Currently own an ENGL invader, and Powerball II. I sold my savage to my guitarist. I love my powerball II.
 
I've owned:
Thunder Reverb Combo
Fireball 60
Blackmore
Savage
Powerball II

Currently own:
E530 preamp
E570 preamp

The E570 is responsible for me selling all the heads at some point, because that preamp's got all I need.

I was actually going to ask a question about retubing the preamps...

I have a Mesa 50/50 (old model) but I currently run it through my Fortin Bones' FX loop
 
would love to hear anyone's experience/opinions on the tube power amps. they look like a great opportunity for adding extra cabinets in wet/dry setups, etc. sound like they're built very well, etc. any advice/models is greatly appreciated.
 
meant to say engl 100w (850/100) or 50w (840/50) versions as above. thks.
 
I use a powerball. Although since trying out a vh4 i am debating on selling to try to get a diezel
