Where is Jake E Lee now?

If someone can get in touch with Jake, Charvel will build us a custom shop of his old strat. We would need to get his permission in writing sent to FMIC for each one of our orders and if we all chipped in cash to get him do it, this would be awesome.

I would want his purple burst strat replica.

I am serious about this because I tried to get Charvel to build me this strat and they said only if I can get Jake's permission.

From what i last read,Ozzy kicked him out when he was blown out,going crazy like he has
so many times.Drunk,stoned etc.
And when the dust settled,Jake didn't wanna come back to that.To have it happen again.

How depressing. I grew up and started playing guitar in the 80's because of Eddie and Randy. Then the new batch of heros emerged during this time like George, Jake and Warren. These are all my influences and it saddens me that Jake is nowhere to be found. I too thought he was just frustrated with the music biz and decided to be a recluse. Didnt really know he was at the bottom. Sure wish someone could help him rise once again. This is definately the time for the 80's guys to shine again!

It always pisses me off when a rock star gets hooked on some type of drink or drug and just let's their life go into the toilet. Robbin Crosby is another 80's rocker who ended up dying from his addiction.

It really sucks because rockers like Cliff Burton, Randy Rhodes, and Dime would give anything to have another chance on this earth. I hope Jake pulls it together.

I thought Robbin Crosby died of aids?

He did, brought on from sharing needles.

Based off all the old interviews Ozzy and Jake didn't get along very well. Jake actually lived with Ozzy but as both he and Ozzy stated...they never hit it off, never talked or bonded. Also based on those interviews...Jake unlike Randy really didn't know how to handle Ozzy and writing with him. Where Randy would bring things out of Ozzy, Jake never had the patience. Throw in the fact that Ozzy at that time was a raging alcoholic and the relationship was done.

I've got alot of old GW's, Guitar for the Practicing Musician, Guitar One etc... Several of those had issues based around Ozzy's guitarists...that's pretty much what I've gotten from those.
