Ernieball builds a high quality guitar. Their only problem is in their pursuit for being unique they have displayed a knack for making ugly ass guitars. The original JP BFR guitars are nice looking but most of them are meh to ugly

He really is fond of that shield motif... He even worked it into the damn bridge.

It's his sig, so I guess all that matters is that he's happy with it? But I can't imagine many people not named John Petrucci playing in a band called Dream Theater will want one. I sure think it's ugly.
