I'm new here....thinking about making the switch from Harmony Central.
Just good to see a thread that gave me loads of info on the JCM 800 I was looking for at HCAF, and found here in about 2 minutes.

Post Phase (Inverter) Master Volume.
It moves the master volumes further down the amps circuit, as it were. By moving it after the phase inverter stage, it gives the amp more "poweramp-esque" distortion, takes away some of the brightness and makes it sound better at lower volumes. Or at least thats what the hype says...

So this can be done to a regular old JCM800 for more distortion at lower volumes sounds great. Must look into this.
