Does anyone know if you can pull a couple of tubes and drop wattage? I (want) but don't need 100 watts. 50 would work better for me.

It has 4 master volumes...No need to pull tubes... :D

pulling 2 tubes out to 50 watts..drops the volume by 3db...hardly anything...

You all better have some kickass clips up as soon as you get these damn things! Looks like Marshall has decided to make a few real amps this year.

Nah, to be honest very few amps give me GAS that bad. I'm sure I'll like it from what everyone is saying, but I can be patient and hold out. I'm not exactly suffering with the VHT, SLO clone and JSX (and the 18 watt Marshall I'm still tweaking) :D

Still one can pull 2 tubes and drop the wattage as with all other 100w amps that I know of.

Still, it's only 3db. Not a lot to be gained from knocking the power down unless it's for concerns over your cabinet wattage.
 
As soon as they are testable here I will get at least one (4ch or VM). Since the reviews of so many people are more than positive I guess that I cannot resist. Although it is possible to get the Vintage/Modern before - to get some ideas for "my own stuff".
 
Damn! I'm pretty impressed that this looks like its going to happen. I'm very curious to try one out - may end up doing something later in the summer if I can't stay away...

You are not kidding, I guess Marshall finally had enough and got someone in there that knew what everyone wanted. Splawn is in trouble.

I am very excited to get this amp, between the liquid leads of the MK IV and the tone capabilities of the JVM my rig is going to kill!
 
I wish i could but I can't buy one. Plus, it's going to cost a bundle in taxes and duties at the border.

I'll wait....
