Two things...
I'm pretty sure I'll be buying one of these, but I don't buy amps without trying them first. Just a rule I try to keep after wasting LOTS of money on blind buys.
I am a little confused though. Every dealer I've talked to has told me it will be $1500-$1600 in stores. Are you sure the rep you spoke to gave you the correct price? Maybe you should get a few more opinions.

The guy I am dealing with is the regional sales manager for the east coast. Marshall has set a line with their retail dealers that the MAP(Manufacturers Advertised Price) is NOT to go below $1750. The MSRP is $2499.99 from all major stores like GC, Sam Ash etc... Take into consideration the standard discount awarded to larger dealers which will vary from 10 to 20%. Now go to an extreme retail discount of say 30%, that would put the amp at the MAP price of $1750.
Sounds like these people have not received any solid info about it as of yet. If you call around like I did yesterday, not a single dealer even has these amps on order in the US. So they are probably referring to the VM amp and not the JVM.

I don't have any interest in this particular amp, but this whole group buy is going to be VERY interesting. Just because it's a brand that has been "down" lately and 10 of these amps are going to be dumped into the hands of some hardcore critics. I can't wait to hear everybody's opinions and the clips, etc.

I am not taking any money until all 10 spots are filled and guaranteed.
I don't want a single person to be delayed due to someone dropping out.
Once I have confirmation of everyones payment, the order will be placed.
What I will do is request via email:
Full Name
Address
Phone Number
Email Address
CC Number or MO sent Via Priority Mail
Whether you will be picking it up of having it shipped.
Realistically, the order can be placed as soon as the MO's that are being sent arrive. All 10 amps will be on one purchase order, so all the money has to be here.

Seems like Marshall made a BIG step in teh right direction with their new offerings.
Marshall has, in general, been off my radar lately, btu maybe one of these beasts will be in my future
