Having not gigged in years, sometimes messing with gear, buying/selling etc is the only thing that keeps it interesting for me. But the way I see it, there's a lot worse things you could spend your time and money on...

I'm gassing real bad for a strat though. Looking forward to doing our taxes, too.
Of course the other side of the coin is, not gigging just makes it that much harder to justify spending on gear...I've gone from 5 guitars and three amps down to two guitars and one amp in the past year or so.

Okay, you caught me. I admit that I like the Wild Cherry song, because... well... it's catchy. And I dig the Janis song because (as I said in another post) it allows me to do some off the cuff country wanking that I've never even tried before. Believe it or not, but I can pull it off A LITTLE. I whip out the Tele and it's kinda fun.
