Just dropped an Anderson HN3 in the bridge of my blue Legacy. I think there was a thread about Tom Anderson pickups recently, so I figured I'd do a clip. The previous pickup in this guitar was a Duncan JB. It sounded good, but was too thin for my taste (same reason I pulled it out of my ASAT as well).

So far this is the hottest pickup I've ever owned, and so far it's a keeper :D

Oh, and apologies for the massive hum at the beginning, I'm picking up a lot of EMI from my computer apparently...

Too much gain!

Coming from the guy whose favorite amp is a 5150?!

I didn't spend any time adjusting that patch, it was set for a MUCH lower output pickup...

Ok, here's a clip I did with about a third less gain on that patch.

Haha, my favorite amp has nothing to do with your clip. I run the gain on 3 on my 5150 with a boost.

Sounds better, but it still sounds pretty crappy IMO. Typical modeler tone.

Looks like someone's feeling especially opinionated today :gethim:
