lol sorry i ditched tonight guys but between the constant crackling in my headset, not being able to concentrate, and petes shotguns to the face I had to bail..

couldn't take it anymore!

I'm buying a new headset tomorrow *probably*. That will solve the crackling, and hopefully it's the cause for my lack of focus while playing!

Now to solve the problem of Pete's shotgun auto-locking in on my face.

i got on for the first time in quite awhile last night. saw I had a message and checked it. some fuckstick sent me a message saying "fuck you." kinda funny. no idea who it was.

it was funny....when you came on, you were on Alex's team, and he kept yelling "Vatos Locos 4Ever"....then you left and he was sad :D
 
ok boys-who's played the halo3 beta? I have and to be honest, I think it sucks.
 
I played the halo 3 beta for a few hours one night when my buddy brought it up to my house. I thought it was "alright", but thats it...nothing uber cool or anything. I was frankly expecting a lot more refined gameplay from halo2 , bu as it turns out it's almost exactly the same. The 'ol..."who ever shoots first wins games play". I don't mind that style of gameplay too much but i dunno if it's gonna be as big a hit to me as i "hoped" that it would be.

As it stands right now, the game play is so similar too Halo2 i don't know how anyone who never played that game alot is goning to stand a chance online. Talk about frustrating gaming....unless you play (like we do) with people you know!

Thankfully, there's a boat load of good shooters coming out....so there will be a lot too chose from.

Now if only my god damn Playstation 3 would release a good game..... :bash:

Hrmph.. I just went to Circuit City and bought a Platronics headset.

I think I'll end up taking it back tomorrow.
I just tested it out by making a voice message and it seems like there's a lot of background noise and my voice is quieter.

When it comes to the headsets, the best ones are the MS wired ones.
 
Yah, the wired one's are the best really, i have a Microsoft wireless one and it's a piece of frigging junk. You always get interference and your constantly turning it off and back on again. They should put a recall on those fuckers.
 
Well this one IS wired. Just not microsoft.


I have time to go to Circuit City still.. but it's on the other side of town and I don't wanna stop and get gas too!

:( OH well I think I'm going to go anyways.

I actually have a computer headset I could use.. then instead of paying $20 for the OEM headset I could just spend $9.99 for a headset adapter.....
 
Well... I got lost on the way back from Circuit City earlier.. ended up going to my friends house on my way back and just got home.

Now it's time to catch up on my missed GRAW2 playing.
 
FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER DAMN IT

As soon as I managed to rip the new headset out of that theft proof plastic container.. and hook it up to play GRAW2 I get the same CRACKLING noise in my ear piece that I got with my old one.

My old one didn't do it until I had got my Xbox 360 back from being repaired, but this one did it straight out of the box.


Am I the only motherfucker that gets this? It's really annoying. It's louder than the people I'm talking to on Live, and some times it just doesn't fucking stop. Gives me a headache.


On another note... I just soldered my old headset back up and it works again. Too bad the packaging on the new one was ripped and cut to shreds or I'd probably take it back.

Did you try using another remote maybe?
