I remember being at this strippers house in Fresno, rehearsing with some guys that were all into 80's rock/metal when we heard some Nirvana on the radio. We actually laughed about it. Little did we know at the time.....Christ, I could barely give away my JEM because the music stores around the area were a graveyard of shredder guitars.

Exactly!! It's not like I'm ever going to wear it out again unless I join an 80's tribute band like MetalShop![]()

Do you ever wear your hair down Ralph? i wear a ponytail 90% of the time similar to how yours is, but when i play out at gigs or when i feel like being a poser .... i let the hair down!

I haven't missed having long hair once since I did it. My 7 year old son this year told me he wanted to grow his hair long like some other kids in his class and I asked him, "do you play guitar? No. Do you play bass? No. Do you play drums? No. Do you sing? No. Well then I guess you can't grow your hair long you little poser".Then his mom told him he could

Those are KILLER photos man. Kudos for putting them up and taking some of us back down memory lane.
I wish I still had some of my old band shots. I never made it to LA during the guitar glory days but wish I had. Regrets always suck. I was playing around here then though and it was GREAT here so I can only imagine there.
I never wore spandex pants though. I always wore leather pants but wore my share of tight polyester shirts...lol

badger71":77729 said:Yeah...chicks like good time music....songs about sex, having fun, partying, etc....This was the music of the hard rock scene of the 80's. Feel good music. There aren't too many bands doing that now in the hard rock/metal genre....hence the sausage-fests.
