very cool, Mine will be a bit smaller....1x12 cab, and may have to mod it for a permanent mic residence.
I'd like to find some plans for one like the Randall Isocab, where the speaker is permenantly installed.

I tried an AxeTrak but didn't care for it much. Here's a review I did with clips. I also tried the Roland ISO box, but didn't like that either. I wound building one myself, starting with the link gaijun posted. I built it a little smaller, since I was only housing a 1x12. I lined it with WhisperMat 2, and it's pretty quiet with the amp at reasonable volumes. I'm thinking about a different design, but it's working for now.

i Made mine the Size of a Real Coffin
mounted the speaker in the Feet section and Mic Holders'sin the Mid section Not Bad But Kind of an Unusual Shape
whats nice is i can Remove each speaker by slideing it out
and replaceing the Next one and just screw it down again

mike are you trying to build in iso-cab like the one randall makes...or just an enclosure for a 1x12?
i'm getting a boogie 1x12 and wouldn't mind building a box for it myself

I was originally thinking like the Randall but the more I look at them, I think putting my 1x12 into a box would probably work better...

it is angeled and is lined with Soft Egg Wrap all around about 4 feet in legenth i installed Cable plug's in their for The Mic Cables and lined some Insulation behind the speaker
i actually made one of these back in High school
when i had a Hearse for my 2nd car
we would Pull the Box out and open the lid
freak out some people while get a Nice Sound from the stereo
so i though id do it again when i read someone called these Speaker coffin's
My Boss is a Preacher today
he give me the Chills' more then Makeing the Coffin
He dont Metal Music But he dont Stop me from Playing it
beside's the fact he likes it when im doing instramental stuff more

how much you give for it? I need to get one myself, I'm still using my little Fender 1x12 cabs, but they get the job done for now.
