Vox Tonelab LE review.....

I plugged it in on Sunday when I brought it home...hooked up the digital optical out to my recording setup...set it to a modern Marshall...tweaked knobs for less than a minute...and actually said..."wow" out loud. :D

It sounds very good direct.
 
I have always liked the Tonelab stuff....of course I have a PODXT Pro :confused: :D

YOu do know there is some gain in that box right?? :yes:

Gain? I'm just using the cleans for the new opera piece I'm writing. :D

But the Tonelab does not have the Insane patch :cry:

Supposedly the new Tonelab LE has more gain added (people complained that they wanted more from the older Tonelab)...I think it has enough gain for the HOM. ;)

I'll try to rip something...it's been a while though. :doh:
 
There are a few corksniffer vintage nuts at the gear page who are switching to Tonelabs with Atomic powered cabs. There must be something to it.

It's the closest thing to a real Marshall amp I've heard yet in modelling...Line 6 needs to step it up if they want to catch up.
I'm using it with the Tech 21 power engine 60...sounds pretty nice. I didn't really like the Atomic with the PODxt when I tried it.
 
A clip would be great dude! I am very interested in checking out the LE and a Marshall sounding clip from you could push me over the edge. :)

I'll see if I can post a nice cheery clip soon...but can't you just order one in at your store. ;)
