does yours have a maple top under there? mine is solid mahogany(McCarty standard). its a bit confusing because in the '94-'95 it was called the McCarty standard - coming in black or gold top but had a maple top. starting in early '96 the McCarty Standard was then referred to as the solid mahogany model.

I think its just soild mahogany, its a standard, and its an 06.

very cool. yeah, a McCarty standard from '06 would be solid mahogany.
this is an excellent guitar that is severely underated IMO. you don't hear alot about them. it became my #1(have a custom 22 and a singlecut also) about 6 months ago.

Yeah I love it so far, it sounds great with my amps, I love how I can split the coils, and I can just feel the quailty craftsman ship of the guitar itself.

Well, after a week of having the guitar, I love it. But since GC lost the warrenty card PRS wont register it. So I ordered a new one that has birds and its is Metallic Red. Should be here on Friday.

wow, very cool looking. i like it alot. i'd like to see that in person. its hard to REALLY photograph the sparkle in guitars. not that your pics aren't good. better than i can do :mrgreen:
