EVH Wolfgang pickups

Yep, it sounds fantastic in my MIJ! :thumbsup:
Oh.... Bypass the tone pot too! Huge improvement, The Tone pot is 250 K, (yikes) no matter where it is set, it sucks the tone out of the guitar, once it is cut out of the equation, it's like you only had the top on 50% and you just turned it right up to full blast, ALL the water is GUSHING through the pipe!
the guitar comes alive and absolutely rips!!!

Is that why my Frankie guitar sounds a lot hotter than my Wolfgang? Even though they both technically have “Wolfgang” pick up?
 
Underpowered? Do you mean not hot enough? Are they adjusted to the string properly?
