I feel like there's a good song there but needs a lot of work and a different singer.

Agreed, I thought for a second that he might skip the solo and be more forward thinking but then it hit..

I’d say his work with Alcatrazz along with the first Rising Force album were important steps on the ladder of hard rock / metal guitar work. I personally really liked Seventh Sign and Facing the Animal. Recent home studio releases have been largely forgettable as far as my ear is concerned...

Nobody tells Yngwie what to do apparently...so when Jeff Soto reached out to him and called him and was rejected by "management", I guess he was rejected by Yngwie himself... :confused:

Sooooo are decisions made by him? and only by him? I wasn't clear on that. At some point he might walk by a mirror , take a look, and fire himself. Lucky Luc style. You're fired! You suck kid!
 
I'm a mega - old school YJM fan but that was pretty awful.
It seems like his MO now is to just play as fast as possible....ALL the time. The solo in that song had like zero phrasing.

You have to admire his ability to play the rock star 24/7.. I bet he sleeps in those chains and those tight ass pants everynight. No compromise, he's gonna be a dick. Part of me loves it. Imagine him at 70? lol

Lol on that Tone-Talk youtube episode with Tosin Abasi, Tosin mentioned that Yngwie was dressed that way 24/7, even when just chillin on the tour bus

That confirms his status as a bonified rock and guitar legend. He "is" the character he portrays. No compromise. Oh, and did you guys know he makes ALL the decisions? In case that wasn't clear..

That was really bad. You would think that the “king” would choose a better vocalist. Let alone have his pick of whoever he chooses.
