NGD: 2018 LPC

Scored this 2018 black and chrome off Craigslist, last owner put the Seymour Duncan slash set in it. It sounds really really good as is so I’m probably gonna leave the slash pups in there for the time being. Let me know if it’s a chiibson lol

Congratulations. Gorgeous fiddle. I have a Standard Unburst inbound from Sweetwater.
 
I put the Duncan Slash in one of my LP's a week or so ago. That pickup sounds fantastic. Really good at high gain too.
 
If it sounds good then leave it alone. Not the pickup I’d choose for a custom though.
 
Congrats! Black and chrome is the coolest. Let me know if u ever decide to part with it. I really don’t dig the gold although I have it on one that is green, not black. Great looking guitar.
 
The slash seems to work well in here but I’m not versed in any pickups besides whatever came in them stock late 2000s and this slash one. Why do you recommend?
 
Killer score!! If you like to stay in the Duncan camp as far as pickups go the sh5 custom sounds badass
 
59/Custom is the other Duncan I like in LP’s. Enough output, but tight and slightly aggressive.

ah, nice specimen of the only gloss black guitar i could see myself owning.

(went through a black guitar stage when i was new to playing - gloss black shows every damn print, pick mark, swirl, nick, and frankly anytime i breathed on it wrong...)
 
Black and chrome Custom just screams metal to me. Congratulations.
 
Looks bitchin! I wish my black LPC had chrome hardware. My ‘78 Wine Red has nickel and I love it
