Hi, I am looking for a 100 watt head, with an effects loop. I am located in SoCal and would interested in
Wizard Modern Classic (1 or 2)
Friedman Modded Marshall with c45
Levi or Caswell Modded Marshall with #34 mod.

Thanks!

Can't go wrong with Wizard or Friedman.
I didn't bond with the Caswell I had for almost a month.
If you find a real Frank Levi, buy it. I'm fortunate to have had him mod me a 2203 with the #34, and it's one of the best amps I've heard to this day. He suppose to mod another amp with the #36 or MK-7(his favorite and most advanced mod, according to him), but he passed before.
@EddyLenz is doing some very great sounding Levi mods. You might wanna talk to him about it.
Good luck with the search

thanks, man. Yeah I used to own a couple Caswells and sold them, to get into other amps I was interested in. Now I have a couple original Jubilee 2555 heads and want to add another 100 watt head. The Friedmans are great, Dave is great and local to me which is a huge plus. I really like his c45 mod on the be100 but am curious as to the X head, or maybe his impending Jose/Mars heads. The Wizard MC or MC2 would be cool but I have no experience on them and wish I could demo one in person before dropping $$$, which seems like a stupid blind buy, tbh. The Levi modded #34 is what I grew up as hearing as the ideal rock sound since GnR and Slash was a big deal to me, but again I would really like to have some hands on experience first.

Again, you couldn't go wrong with these amps, but out of the ones you've mentioned, the #34 is just so versatile, it record so good and everybody who plays it says nothing but amazing things about the amp.
HIt @EddyLenz and ask him more about his mods, since finding a Frank Levi modded amp is pretty much impossible.

I produce this song, and the band tracked it at my former studio in Brazil. The gear used for the feedbacks and main licks before the solo and for the solo are just a Les Paul straight into the Levi #34 and an EVH 4x12.

This other song, also at my studio, but this time in Nashville, was with Tyler Bryant on the guitar using the #34, with Greenbacks. He played his Tele and used his sig OD and some delays and verb from his pedalboard. The amp was already distorted, so he just pushed a bit harder with his pedals. He is an insane player. He is on the right side speaker.

Thanks for the kind words!

I personally prefer my tweaked #36 to the #34, but that's just because I like more gain and the AFD sound ;D
Got a video of a #34/36 modded Marshall SV20H coming in a few minutes.
