Anyone out there tried the Ceres pedal through a powerstage? How does it sound? I know that the Ceres sounds good but will it sound good through a powerstage into an Orange 4x12? Cheers!

I think the ceres is awesome, but didnt work with my boosts well at the time, and the powerstation sounds pretty good when you get it to 4ohm. But... the ceres is going to sound WAY better through a tube amp. I ran it into the return of my laney gh100, and it was night and day. A. I wish i had tried my regular ts type boost into the ceres, and B.i wish i had a stereo tube power amp.
What would be a good tube power amp to get without spending big bucks? If the tone is night and day difference with a power tube amp vs. the powerstage I'd be willing to spend a bit more. Thanks for the advice.
How many watts do you need? I know this might not be exactly what you want to hear but I would spring for the KSR PA50 or 25. I've had a lot of people disagree with me but the PA50/Ceres is just as good as the orthos I had. I actually think I prefer the ceres/PA50.
It's really useful with the top, bottom, and NFB controls. Not to mention the hifi settings designed for digital modelers.

I figured someone was going to say this. Maybe I'll look into the 50 watt KSR PA50. This might be worth the extra money if it would work well with my FM3 which I currently run FRFR with a Mackie PA.

Love my ceres , and i do love my powerstage 200 also, I didn't at first and then realized it really has to run at 4 ohms.. but agreed , gotta run them at 4 ohms, not negotiable imo.
Ceres and powerstage sound great together, very useable. A tube power amp is always better of course.
