Had one years ago, sold it, regretted it ever since. They are extremely rare and almost impossible to find where I live and aren´t currently in production. What´s the best alternative? Maybe the Synergy module? How close will it get me and is the Ultralead module very sensitive to the poweramp used?

If you can’t get the UL just keep your eyes peeled for any of the Pittbull models. Personally, I preferred the el34 loaded models to the UL.

GPDI with powerstation? i guess closest? but i still guess none other than a used VHT UL ya need the 6 preamp tube config

If a 3ch isn’t a must, I’d look at PRS Archon 100, or a Peavey 6505+ (for the budget win!).

Have you tried contacting Fryette? Their website doesn't have much of anything in stock, but I got the impression he'll build to order still.

I had a CL, HATED it... I'm a big fan of the UL though. Something in the mids of the CL I couldn't dial out and was grating to my ears.

I'd keep looking, the UL is it's own beast.

The CLX and CL models are just as brutal as the UL100.

I had a Pittbull Classic (not the Pittbull CL) for a while and it could certainly get brutal as hell. I've never had the chance to play a UL though :(

To me, the graphic EQ on the UL makes a lot of difference. The UL is the most brutal VHT by far.

Bro, they all have optional graphic EQs. Me and VesMedic have had multiple Fryette’s, including a CL and D120…they’re all brutal as hell.

I would love to try the Deliverance. My friend has one, but he won't bring is Canukistan ass down to texas to let me try it.

Classic/CLX is my favorite of the Pittbulls. Had a UL for a while and sold it. Had an ice-picky thing going on that might have been related to my cabinet (it just seemed to not play nice with V30's I guess?).

The Classic combo was my first "boutique" amp and I haven't turned back from Fryette since. Now use a CLX instead of the Classic and honestly if you can't get enough brootz or low end out of a CLX you must not be playing with a bassist.

I would hold off on getting one. Fryette told me they're working on a new version of the ultra lead. May be out sometime next year, but take that with a grain of salt.

Had a ampfest my place. Maybe 8? Years ago?
Buddy brought his ultra lead. Probably 12 amps there. Full band set up jammin.
I had a Rivera KR7 and was playing that along with my buds UL. Tone was damn near identical.
