Were there turret board 2203s?
I've seen a few here and there. But I think they were custom orders.

I didn’t know that…I've seen a few here and there. But I think they were custom orders.
that amp was custom built for Zakk Wylde and not a Marshall built amp from what i've read.
No 1973 and a half downWere there turret board 2203s?
There were no 2203s in 1973. 75 or 76 I think was the first.No 1973 and a half down
Damn youre smart. Marshall didnt make a point to point turret amp after 1973 and half Period regardless of the model. There were no 2203s in 1973. 75 or 76 I think was the first.
If you see a PTP wired MV Marshall it's been rebuilt. Unless it might be an artist only model...not for public consumption.Damn youre smart. Marshall didnt make a point to point turret amp after 1973 and half Period regardless of the model.
PTP/Turret board construction ceased in the first half of 1973 where they were using up straggler boards when they were transitioning to full PCB in 1973 forward. So 1972 was last full year of full turret board amps and some early 1973's could be turret board amps. The only late model turret board constructed Marshall is the handwired 1959 SLP resissue amp I can't remember what year those went into production... 2004/2005 maybe? If you see a PTP wired MV Marshall it's been rebuilt.
