Which pick guard looks best? ** UPDATE **

I've gone with black. I installed the Wilkinson vintage trem, then swapped the bent saddles for the Wilkinson locking saddles. Never tried these before. Now i'm waiting for the electronics -- pots, jack, and also strap knobs and tuners. The neck is down in SoCal getting an oil finish.

This is somewhat inspired by the original Frankie -- the white and black one.

Like a tan or white-ish? I can put a sheet down. Don't have black
It's just busy looking on the floor. Maybe mock it up on bed sheets or a blanket. I see the pics above on a towel... it's a really tough decision as the body is unique. Maybe a metal pick guard? So far, black is best.

See below. Had to fight the cats to stay out of the pic. I have several pics with cat heads, tails, etc. Ugh!

The black looks great. Now get a cream or zebra pickup to compliment the neck.

I use those saddles and think they do help tuning, but don't tighten them down too far.

Also I need a couple replacement screws and they're not the easiest thing to find locally (at least for me)...they're 3x5mm flanged button heads.

Yes, that was my thought to. I liked the white one but thought ivory or even something creamish would even look better.

I wanted something darker to offset the brighter/white color of the guitar

Of those I like black. I almost always prefer Parchment over White. I wonder what mint green would look like? And I mean a snotty Fender mint green not a cheap knockoff minty mint green.

EDIT: on second thought, the light colored neck and body need a dark pickguard I think. Agree with ^.

What pickup is that? Looks like either a Mighty Mite 1300/1400 or a Dimarzio SD...

The guitar looks great!

What you picked looks awesome. I liked the White and the Black equally. Can't wait to see it all put together and finished.
