I remember having one for a longtime.
Just the meatiest, punchy bottom end grunt
& thick top end that doesn’t fall apart or squeal easily.
Those are extremely powerful amps.
I’ve had the mods from Mike D, for the ++.
For me, the 2C+ is the tits.

Amazing sounding amp! Thx for sharing! Knowing what I know now on how to set the controls on those, I wish I bought one of those years back. The EQ on the mark stuff is so powerful and sounds so great!

I had the OS Recto cabs when I got my first C+, and have since moved to the metal grille 4x12 with EVM-12L speakers. I can tell that those are the cabs that the C+ were built to go with. The mark series are midrange heavy amps, and the V30's are midrange heavy speakers, hence the deep cut on the 750Hz slider. It works with V30's but not so much needed with C90's or EV's.

I also had a choice 2C++ that Mike B added
a legit clean channel and custom led foot switch.
Super dope but the 2C+’s frequencies do not need to be f’d with, especially if you have owned one prior to the ++, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
Man, I clearly remember and can feel that volume
control as it gets past 4.
For me, those old school Mesa’s are the quietest high gain amps EVAR’ created.
One example of this would be you can be all gained up, pushing ruthless punchy & punishing volume levels and hit a wah-wah pedal and you can control the squeeling depending on where you’re standing.
Dude, not an amp in existence could do that except the 2C’s & all the revision rectifiers etc.
It’s in the top end.?
