IMHO this thread is a fair play. Just sayin' 'cause I received a report which wasn't valid in this case I reckon.

I would rather have someone post a thread like this on purpose as a way for us to get to know someone. Have some back and forth. Some dialog. Share pictures, rig stories, transaction lists, etc. Versus someone posting a one word bump in 50 different threads that contribute nothing.

In fact, it's probably the best approach I can envision and is certainly the opposite of the inconsiderate spamming we've seen from time to time.
 
I was on here for years made many friends and done a ton of deals. Just decided to come back and hopefully make some new friends. The site has changed some since then and I’m still learning how it works now as compared to then .
 
Did you have the same user name? How many posts do you think you had?

Yes same user name . I don’t remember how many post but it was way up there.

Another bump... Also most appropriate thread for my 50th post! That only took 14 years of lurking. I can now strip all the tubes out of my amps & post in classifieds for 900% markup.

So, here's an idiot question, I still don't have sufficient permissions to reply to classifieds to give away my money & buy more shit I don't need, tried logging out, closing & reopening browser - something else I need to do?
 
I've seen this before - a small delay. IIRC, it could take a few days.

I've figured previously that it could be some sort of time-related "extra check" in order to protect from those who take a spamming approach, but that theory is a very-bad one of course. :confused:
