Anyone have a BARON K2 amp? If so, do you have a footswitch? If so, I have a small favor to ask...

Hey guys, if anyone out there has a Baron K2 amp, and yours has 2 footswitchable gain levels on the GAIN channel, and then it also has a clean channel, and you have the footswitch, it's kind of a complicated footswitch (to me) and 1 of my LED's has fallen out years ago, and I was all motivated to fix it tonight, but couldn't figure out what that led attaches to. It's not like any other footswitches, and I even have a 2nd Baron amp with a totally different switch. Anyway if you have this one and you'd be kind enough to take the 4 screws out and remove the back panel, and snap a picture for me, I'd appreciate it A LOT

Thanks, Eric

I can get a pic of mine tommrow.

That would be sooo nice of u. I know he made a lot of different versions, but I'm hoping it'll be the same as mine. The '2 gain led's, are in tact on the gain A/B footswitch, but the 'channel' led is disconnected and I don't see any solder traces and it doesn't seem to reach far enough for any lugs. . Basically fell out inside the footswitch years ago. Anyway, looking forward to it

You guys have any clips of your Barons ?

I'm sorry, I feel like a buzzkill sometimes on the forums as I don't record clips or anything. I'm an ampaholic, and do play in 2 gigging bands around VT but don't do clips. I had a sound business an Adat project studio and mostly recorded other musicians 20+ years ago! Meanwhile, all of the clips of the Barons that used to be on the Baron website and Youtube were extremely good, and sound just like the amps do. (hope they're still there, but I know the company closed down) I always thought they were some of the best clips on the internet. I bought a 1-off Bogner XTC-type Baron from GregT who owned Tomato Farm Studio in NY (From the original Rig-Talk forum) and bought the 120 watt K2. . I reallly like the K2 a lot, and it sounds great at any volume. I use Splawns at my gigs as they provide just what I need, but after digging this out, I'm gonna need to use it this spring /summer for sure...

Thanks for the reply . I definitely understand

ANYONE else have a Baron K2 or K88 amp with a Footswitch that has the channel-switching LED on the lower left and then the 3 LED's on the right for 'gain channel, and gain A and gain B'? Randy R's was a different footswitch and I know Baron made a bunch of different ones as my other one is different. lol... . Anyway, please help if you can. I've found David Woodhouse on Facebook and will try to get in touch if necessary, but last resort. Thanks so much

Eric
