While that philosophy used to be true and agreeable, if you're a moderate that still votes Democrat in this current political climate, you are doing nothing but helping advance the destruction of the core values this country was founded on. Yes, most people ARE moderate politically but the sad fact is that the far left progressive/socialist/communist movement has been allowed to gain traction and further their control over the Democrat party so saying your in the middle while still putting a check next to a D is just furthering the agenda. Hate to break to ya folks that don't already see it, Democrat leadership and policies DO NOT work. Look at any major US city under Democrat rule and it's painfully obvious. At some point, people are going to need to put their big boy and girls britches on and accept the fact that policy over feelings is more important.
I'm not saying the GOP is stellar by any stretch. We truly need option #3 but that isn't going to happen. So if I have to choose, I'll choose the option that isn't hell bent on destroying our constitution and running the country into a third world shithole.

This is the most common/popular train of thought. If my state 100% ends abortion, even in the first trimester. That would be cause for concern that I will be paying more for the mistakes of others.

I’m talking about the restrictive limitations on abortion in Texas that have not generated a massive groundswell of opposition that state.
It doesn’t matter whether or not you think you can
“handle the child.” If you make it, you should raise it. The primary problem, and I think this hurts the side you’re arguing for, is the left has made abortion just another form of birth control they wish to have on demand at any time in the pregnancy. With all the widespread availability of contraception these days, arguing for abortion, even up to the point of birth, is extremely offputting to the majority of people. Again, I don’t think this is going to be the great thing that motivates the middle to vote democrat. Not when gas will be around $5 gallon in November.

Again, there has not been a great groundswell of those in the middle (and the middle is what we’re talking about here) in the state of Texas fighting back against what is a very restrictive abortion law. There are a lot of liberal voters in that state, and there has not been a significant movement against it. Abortion will not be the issue for the middle. It will be their pocketbooks, which are shrinking moment by moment under the Biden regime and total control of Congress by democrats.

This is what I’m talking about. The more the left talks about abortion, the more it grosses out/offends rational people in the middle. Listen to their arguments is truly repulsive. Zero respect for the sanctity of life.

You’re implying that we should kill poor people before they’re born so they won’t have to be in the poverty line. Or we should kill them before they have a chance to become criminals. IF they become criminals. Gross. Immoral. Evil. You do not value life. Your words show it.

The abortion issue is going back to the states where it belongs. SCOTUS is not supposed to make law. It will not be the bellwether issue in November that you’re claiming it will be. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat crow. We’ll see.

The partisan in you is strong. I’m going to say this and be done trying to “argue” with you. Yes, we spent too much money under Trump, you’re right about that. But it was Biden and mostly blue states that kept things locked down way, way longer than we should have. Everyone rational knows this. Trump warned about that, most on the right have been warning about it since Biden took office, keeping things shut down like we did. Inflation was happening LONG before Putin invaded Ukraine. Once of the first things Biden did in office was to green light the Russian gas pipeline that Trump had sanctioned. You are buying the propaganda of the regime hook, line, and sinker. There’s no point trying to talk to you. Have a good one.
