While that philosophy used to be true and agreeable, if you're a moderate that still votes Democrat in this current political climate, you are doing nothing but helping advance the destruction of the core values this country was founded on. Yes, most people ARE moderate politically but the sad fact is that the far left progressive/socialist/communist movement has been allowed to gain traction and further their control over the Democrat party so saying your in the middle while still putting a check next to a D is just furthering the agenda. Hate to break to ya folks that don't already see it, Democrat leadership and policies DO NOT work. Look at any major US city under Democrat rule and it's painfully obvious. At some point, people are going to need to put their big boy and girls britches on and accept the fact that policy over feelings is more important. What a shit show this thread is. Think for a minute that someone can disagree on a single topic as you, that doesn’t make them far right or far left. So many in those categories fall in rank and file and never sway from party line and have no independent thoughts. Moderates on the otherhand think both sides are a circus and side with what topic fits their personal, geographical, and economic demographic. There’s no one size fits all, but the moderates are undoubtedly the key to the election
I'm not saying the GOP is stellar by any stretch. We truly need option #3 but that isn't going to happen. So if I have to choose, I'll choose the option that isn't hell bent on destroying our constitution and running the country into a third world shithole.
Rant over.
