You are a fucking idiot. You conveniently leave out "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". Doesn't say "the militias rights". The Bill of rights lays out every individual US citizens rights in relation to the government. That is why it is called the bill of rights. The purpose of the second isn't for plinking targets, or hunting, although it does not prevent it. Its main purpose , and the reason it is so important is that it gives citizens the right to take back this country from tyrannical assholes that decide they know better than than the founding fathers. No one here or anywhere else is going to give up any rights because of anything you have to say, mainly because you have no fucking idea what you are talking about.

Yet you have conveniently twisted it around to promote the "rights" of the individual over the collective, which the 2nd Amendment is about.

If the Founding Father's just wrote it for their time, they would have mentioned it. No. They knew technology and civilization would advance from muskets and horse drawn wagons.. They wrote it for the future as far as the eye can see.
