Check out the red 'short' wire from PT to white wire in that second photo.

And "triple soldering" was something he (Billy Blades) coined for added protection.

I’m no NASA level solderer, but that is a complete shit show. Judging by his tattoo and electronics work, it looks like he solders with a tattoo gun and tattoos with a solder gun.

Yes, looks eerily familar. When i first bought my solder gun and used to change out electronics, had some cold solder "piles and points" just like it.

Before Friedman was a big deal and making his own amps etc, he modded a couple Marshalls for me( one I had done for a friend) My amp was good, but the other literally caught on fire upon first usage. It WAS a 1976 JMP. Lol.. Guess it happens to even the best of them. In all fairness, Dave did make it right so all is good. Had several dealings with Mark Cameron and never had one problem but I understand others have a different song to sing.

Dude even had the ingenuity to put a cup holder in an amp so you can electrocute the shit out of yourself and drop dead! What’s more rock n roll than dropping dead with band mates on stand by to restart your heart after you rocked so hard you died!? And only after that, Bladez deems you worthy for a mod.

I’m sure by now bladez has unwittingly killed a handful of guitarists. No joke though, the dude is dangerous because he will go to any length without a second thought about consequences. When he said he was soeaking with Jose beyond the grave and that Jose was super pissed at Friedman I finally understood how crazy the dude was because he expected that the guitar community would believe him and take his side and when they didn’t the dude went berserk.

And his fight against the amp monopoly and the guys who own the monopoly!! Whoa!! Saying he was the only builder brave enough. Yikes.

But at the same time, what truly and wildly entertaining reading he provides for us! Pure gold. The misfortunes of Billy Bladez have always been the greatest heights of funny because EVERY SINGLE TIME, he brought it on himself.

I have never seen any human being learn less from their mistakes and lessons in life. Definition of insanity in human form, Sir William Bladez.

Hmmmmm. Yeah. I think I know this guy? Wouldn’t it be great to know when your selling your gear if your dealing with a real musician or a guy trying to flip for a profit? I guess I’ve just never been “that” guy.

He got bored with guitars and amps because he quickly became the master of the universe and moved on to time travel and quantum mechanics. He is still set on helping out jose and plans on bringing him to present day to prove he really spoke to the ghost of Jose (also to undo the ghastly tats he screwed everyone over with and take back all the hep C contracted at his dirty and tainted shop). His time machine is near completion and he also offers a service for tattoo removal where he goes back in time and says, “he don’t go in my shop, that’s me in there doing tats and I’m about to royally screw up your arm and annihilate your liver with tainted hep c gear.”
