Damn! Any idea how they got your password? I just enabled it here and now on to TGP. Dirty bastard crooks!

no idea. But I’ll admit it was fairly simple… it hadn’t changed since I opened the account in 2006.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you got it under control now though.

Everyone should have 2FA enabled on any and all website accounts they use. Also use long, complex passwords. It's becoming increasingly easy to get your credentials stolen or hacked.

I use bitwarden to keep track of the credentials all of my accounts. It'll autofill them for you so you don't have to type them in. I recommend it; it's free for personal use.

PSA tests are highly advisable for all TGP members. And also here, from the frequent butthurt.

Honestly I’m not sure if I remember my own password on here hahaha
 
I enabled 2FA on EVERY website and/or service I use. Either using an authenticator app or text message of an app isnt an option. I highly recommend people do that as well.

I work in the I.T. field in security and I've seen enough people get scammed or locked out due to not so secure passwords and especially no 2FA enabled.
