Hell ya ! I’m so ready for his amp line . Definitely on the list for that . Going to set it up with the Marshall and the Rectifier and have a tone of a Hermansson threesome lol
 
id love to hear a comparison between the marshall and the recto - which one will provide the most low end punch? I'd venture to guess it would be the rectifier, but after getting the Hermansson treatment, I'm curious about the results. congrats!

Thanks! Unfortunately there's not many miced clips. I was talking to Hermansson about modding my 800. But i decided to not do it.
This Head was available in my area a while ago:
But Henric said it ain't "Metal-Amp".

Is it a 3 gain stage ? Is that why he said not metal ?

Yes. 3 gain stage, but i checked the pm's again and it actually was the private seller of the amp who said that. I asked Henric: "I play in low Standard A with an EMG 81 in an ESP V-II. The seller himself recommended a 5Gain Stage mod of you for metal. I'm interested in your opinion about that..." and Henric answered:"Hi Simon! Yes, if you play 7-string the 5 gain stages circuit will suit you best."
But it sounds pretty metal to me in the clip. :D

I will say this . I get great classic tones out of my JMP but I’m not great at boosting old amps to do high gain . I have with ocd and it’s cool but I need to record it to see if it’s good . My computer took a dump but I have a way to do clips and will

You need to use two boosts in serial.
