I knew that they would try to turn her into some inspirational figure. Newsflash! If you go to countries where even weed is illegal and you decide to bring some..you might get caught and arrested. I would not even suggest going to some countries with it even in your bloodstream!! What the hell is wrong with people to feel so entitled?

No soldier has put their life on the line for our country since Pearl Harbor or finding bin laden. The rest of the wars were all bullshit that had nothing to do with the US. And no the government doesn't give a shit about it's soldiers. They're just pawns to get used until they're no longer functional. Sad.

I can agree most of the wars were BS but conscripts into Vietnam DID put their lives on the line and many died. Didn't you get the memo?

But Vietnam had nothing to do with us. It's unfortunate that our government forced it's citizens to go there.

My father was drafted but lucky for him he had "bone spurs" so he didn't have to go.

I wouldn't go that far but agree to an extent. My Son puts up with outdated equipment, writes up reports on unsafe vehicles and is yelled at for writing the truth. Next mandatory Jab and he will take an honorable DC. He was misled, mislead, and fooled. They are in place to protect the elite in charge- nothing else.

The hypocrisy and inconsistency of our government confirms the reality that we're a banana republic in full denial.
I don't care which way they swing, because you'll only piss off 50% of citizens, but at least keep it consistent.

As time goes by so much information from long ago is surfacing because of declassification and FOIA. You'd be astounded that the US we live in today was first started by FDR and our involvement in WW2. Do some digging as it aint that hard to find
