Wow, I work at Providence Sacred Heart in Spokane in the CICU. My friends wife works in Peds ICU there. I want to see if she has any facts to this. Sad- but what do you expect from one of the largest Hospital systems in the Nation- on the other hand, there is and has been a blood shortage in Spokane, so if it was a life/death matter- need takes precedent. Still- no record? Hard to believe because ALL Blood products are computer checked and double signed.
