Headphones for my FM3

Looking for a recommendation for headphones to be used with my FM3 for late night jamming. I don't want to get junk, but I don't want to spend a fortune. What should I look into?
 
I am very happy with my beyerdynamics dt 770 pro (250ohm)

I use some $35-50 AKG and Shure studio headphones I got a few years ago. However, most of the time for practice, I have my FM3 plugged I to some 6" KRK premium studio monitors and it sounds great. LOL! I could probably mic my studio monitors and get a good sound! Anyway, studio headphones are better because they don't have lots of low end and mid-cut like regular consumer headphones made for rap and crap popular music. Though practicing with headphones would be bothersome if you do it when not traveling. Get some good studio monitors.
 
I actually have a pair of Yamaha HS 5's that I use with it and an active Mackie PA for playing loud. I'm just looking for a decent headphone so that I can play whenever I want to without pissing off the old lady!
 
Yamaha hph-mt8. Since I bought them, my Beyerdynamics and Audio Technica headphones are under a thick cover of dust. Except of being great soundwise, they are comfortable even on my big head and I can wear glasses without any discomfort.
 
I asked this question on the fractal Forum about a year and a half ago and a bunch of guys told me to get the Sony MDR-7506 they said you cannot beat them for the money. I ended up returning the fm3 but the couple times I did use the headphones they sound incredible.
 
When I got mine a few years ago I ordered the cheapest Roland "studio" headphones sweetwater had. They have been great. Flat response, comfortable, cheap...

So you have shitty hearing no big deal.????? just like with anything else an amplifier sounds incredible to one person terrible to another, that's why a lot of options are great. You should get your hearing checked though.
 
you should spend more than 80 bucks on some hyped cans before bothering to have an opinion
 
Have had some Sennheiser HD600’s for like 7 or 8 years now and if they broke I would buy another pair immediately

Anyone pleeeeease?

I like idea of DT 770 Pro but I would like a detachable cord.

Also would they work well wothout headphone amp? I plan to use them with Apogee Jam Plus.
 
I ordered a set on mf stupid deal and they are great. Have no idea what the brand is and honestly I never use them. But when I do they sound good….
