I use a DiMarzio strap now but looking to have a backup but more than that, something solid with padding. Just wondering what a good, solid brand is?

If you want leather, minotaur makes good quality straps for a decent price

I've been using Planet Waves straps since forever. They are pretty soft and slide on your shoulder pretty easy, but I wouldn't call them padded.

Received one of these as a Christmas gift. Super comfy, doesn't move around, padded enough to feel good, but not bulky.
BIRCH & SMITH Full Grain Leather Guitar Strap, Foam Padded, Perfect for Electric, Acoustic & Bass Guitars (2" Wide, Whiskey Brown Color) https://a.co/d/2FTErXD

Just ordered a black one of these!

Levy's is probably the brand I've been most happy with over the years.

You can find some good deals through amazon and elsewhere on the internet, they're stupidly overpriced on the rack at GC.

Levy's is good

Music man make the best "cloth" style straps

Eddie Carlino makes the best leather straps on the planet

I found a Levy's strap a few years ago that I love so I bought like 5 of them. it's the 2" black leather (goes with everything!) with the plastic buckle. I like the plastic because it doesn't ding or scratch. Fantastic straps.

All good info folks and appreciate it!! My Dimarzio strap is great but has those plastic "lock" attachments and I'd hate for one of those to break and not have a solid backup.

Cant install the Schaller or D'addario strap locks on those straps instead of the plastic locks?
