I completely agree with you but this is a forum. So, if someone is going to post a somewhat off-topic thread on a subjective topic like this (insert band, artist, youtuber, etc) then one also has to be prepared for those that don't agree and have enough free time to let you know they don't agree.

That's all :)
Yeah, I shouldn’t post when I’ve been sitting in an airport for hours after the 6th delay. Delays that only just NOW got me on the plane…after they booked me in an overbooked hotel and I had to shuttle to 3 hotels to find a room. What a cluster.

I'll just stick with listening to Old Man Metal. It's too late for me to start over now.
Old Man Metal would make a great graphic novel.
It follows a dude that looks like Father Time but in a cod piece and denim jacket.
He enjoys going to concerts and watching with a stern look and arms crossed.

that being said, Megadeth is my favorite metal band ever

I would have to agree with that

From a more modern perspective I am fully ingesting Killswitch and Slipknot at my ripe old age. I somewhat missed the boat when they were both new and fresh but they are now 'somewhat' new and fresh to me. Slipknot, like KISS, also have made it pretty well known that they want their 'brand' to continue on past their years - somewhat similar to what BabyMetal is doing it appears.

even though I was in my early 20's at the time, it took me a while to get in to the more "modern" metal bands of the time (mid 2000s). I started dating a girl that was in to it and I couldn't stand it, until I went to a concert. It was Unearth and Trivium. Trivium was cool, some of the solos reminded me of Cacophony and I thought that was cool. Unearth kicked my ass though. Seeing it live kind of made it all make sense. That's right around the time Revocation came out and they really struck a chord with me too.

I know their early “cute” stuff isn’t really for everyone, but they aren’t 15 anymore and they put on some kick ass live shows.
The backing bands are always killer too.

Pumped for their new album

I always dug this one. The music is pretty slammin'

Ahh... Karate gets posted again and of course I couldn't help but click on it.

Never get tired of that song...
