"Her name was Brenda

She worked at Red Lobster."

I totally misunderstood.
I thought you were adding drop Z riffs to an already cut Sir mix-a-lot tape
Figured the Toxic Twins did it with DMC .
So why not you.:bash:

Cool video.Your son looks like a certain AIC Guitar player,

Are you the "Rooster"?
Nah. He actually loves metal, classic rock and good music in general. He started dicking around in my jam room when he was 15 or so. He came up with some rap tunes.

Seemingly, everyone who lives in my fucking apartment complex who isn't me! :bash:

I don't mind some old school rap, but this new stuff I hear is just garbage. I refer to it as "Auto-Tuned Jibber Jabber".
Grandmaster Flash and the furious Five! SugarHill gang.. Frankie Smith (double Dutch bus) that’s what I grew up on..
Would love to do an Apache rendition…

I can do Eminem, Snoop, the Bizkit, POD, stuff like that. Not your traditional rap.

Grandmaster Flash and the furious Five! SugarHill gang..
The two greatest rap acts AFAIC.

If someone asks me if I like rap, I just say "only these two".

Admittedly, there've been maybe 3 rap songs since that era that I did like. Bust a Move is the only title I can think of right now. Great groove and the lyrics were funny, clever and memorable.

you mean like, Bring the Noise?

I'd rather listen to Kiss disco, just me?
I was a pretty big Anthrax fan at the time and my inner circle of friends were mostly black dudes, a couple of which were also into metal. That song got me curious enough to buy the Public Enemy Apocalypse '91 CD and I did kind of like some of it. But that was pretty much it for me regarding rap. I tried but I think I need more harmony/melody and I never really cared about lyrics so just not a good fit.

And I still think I'm the Man is pretty fucking funny.

I like Big Butts by Sir mixalot. And anything 2 Live Crew. Funny story. We used to go on islamorada sailfish tournaments: apparently the fish get excited with subwoofer noise or low frequency. We would blast it from the ship and still would catch nothing BUT when other ships came close by; we would get the WTF look.
