Interesting. I always like it when people find these and post them. An inflation calculator puts the head at a little less than $3500 in todays money which is right around where the MKVII is.
purple stripe ......the one old mesa that I've always wanted.
I notice it’s usually the exact opposite. No no no it's not inflation and cost increases, it's corporate greed bro
You ever notice the assholes screaming that are the ones that want $35 an hour for a job a chimp could do but want to pay bottom price for everything they buy?
I don't know. For me, it helps put things into perspective. Doesn't make prices any more affordable, but it gives people an idea of where they should be. Now, raising prices $400-$500 a year on a product certainly looks a little greedy. But I'm not on the inside looking at material costs etc.No no no it's not inflation and cost increases, it's corporate greed bro

For the quality of the amps, I agree. The main problem with Mesa is they were underpriced for so long people just expected them to stay that way.

No one wants to think about that. I just makes you depressedWow, a lot for 1987. And to think in the mid 2000s you could pick up a used one for $300-$500…
…and I still didn’t want one….sorry, never been a fan of the MkIII.Wow, a lot for 1987. And to think in the mid 2000s you could pick up a used one for $300-$500…
They're not that bad. I loved my Mark III red stripe when I had it, it was made in '87 too. There's a certain 80's vibe that you just can't dial out of those amps though, they're like hair metal amps. If you want that sound, get yourself a Mark III.…and I still didn’t want one….sorry, never been a fan of the MkIII.
Is this a coli?purple stripe ......
