its super silly but yeah its great. hes my favorite new guitar player. it just sounds a little more like id expect or i guess want new Extreme to sound like

I wasn't too hot on the first of their recent songs, but the solo in this one is killer.

The song overall is not my style but still, great solo, great guitar tone.

I wish the rhythms were more interesting. That was what I loved about Eddie. I know, Nuno is his own man and not trying to be Eddie but for a guy that creative I don’t get the rhythms that sound like a guy just discovered drop tuning and grunge.

That’s how I feel too. His solos are cool but VH was much more interesting from beginning to end of a song.

You're right that Eddie was awesome at cramming his rhythm lines with little accents and random phrases and trills at every possible moment and they always, always worked. Dude was a master at that.

But man it's tough to ask for anybody to match Eddie, arguably the most interesting rock rhythm player of all time.

He's a fantastic player and can sort of channel a lot of different guys BUT he's so damn cringe. His facial expressions, teased hair. The dude is way too into himself and practically face f-cking the camera everytime he's on it.

how can you love yngwies schtick and hate on all these young guys?? i dont disagree though, not sure what is behind the over the top candy rock theme, that band only has a few songs though, i found him through Poppys stuff which is nothing 80s at all. he does combine all my favorite players better than anyone. they arent as cringe in this live video and sound great, maybe he is a super prick or something, i cant imagine why they arent bigger, they are cooler than greta van fleet
