I watched this recently and was like a 13 year old again watching him play whole lotta love

The 200 watt modded 1959s he use on SRTS LIVE album is just perfect for rock n roll. But he never used it on the albums . Mystery he allowed that

This isn’t true, the Marshall from MSG in 73 was the same Marshall super lead that was on LZ II-PG. Never read anything officially on it but just going by bootlegs and clips from the ‘75 tour, that’s when he seems to have swapped to the super bass

He definitely had 200 watt 1959s then . I have like 3 biographies stating . He had 200 watt superleads and in many of my guitar worlds

Watched a post about Eddie dissing Jimmy P being sloppy then heard a couple live cuts from 72 at the forum he was just goin ta town I gotta get that live stuff, good story about the van havens goin ta see Jimmy early 70"s.Ya gotta hear the jam,Also check out Billy strings in Austin all over the fretboard.Just sayin
 
Jimmy's guitar parts fit perfectly in every Zeppelin song. Whether clean, distorted, whatever. Leave room where needed and goes nuts when needed.
