And killer video. I have been on a big page kick recently and love that song.
Thanks for taking a listen! I recently realized that I’ve been trying to learn all these 80s tunes and struggling but I never mastered the tunes from my heroes heroes…so I’ve committed to learn the entire discography of zeppelin, who, kiss, AC/DC, sabbath etc

I’ve heard that song so many times but never really sat down to learn it and honestly fell in love with Zeppelin all over again! They truly were/are masters of the craft!!!

I've been doing that about once a year for the past 40 years!
Amazing how you step away for a solid period of time and then put on a Zep track and BAM!
They're the greatest rock band ever all over again!

Absolutely, slowing the tracks down and listening to the nuances of each of the four guys…goosebumps all over.

It’s incredible that technology has come this far and we can basically “be in the room” with the legends

Not sure if you know of her but she's a classically trained opera singer who got into doing
reaction videos of rock singers. This is one of her earlier ones and her reactions to Plant,
and Zep on a whole are a perfect summation of why they're so special.

This girl knows music theory on a technical level like no tomorrow and has performed with
full blown orchestras in concert halls all over.

Bet none of it has ever simply 'got her off' like she does here!

Dude I watch her vids all the time, always learn something. Completely agree that she’s knows the theory and is incredibly talented. I also love that she checks out and reviews a wide variety of stuff, it’s a lot of fun to watch!

I do not! I’ll have to add his channel to my list, very much appreciate the rec!!

His review hearing "Close to the Edge' gives me lots of goosebumps.
At all the right parts he forgets all about the theory shit and just has his
mind blown by the creativity of the piece and musicians.

Epic watch.

He's apt to put back a few strong cocktails sometimes which can be fun. :D

If you dig him here's one more in the same vein. Think bud is more his thing.

I do too...plus there's another one as well....watched her stairway reaction vid yesterday....

One more derail. Watching her rock out reminded me of when we saw Page & Plant
do the Unledded tour in Boston. They had the band and Egyptian ensemble, but would
rent classical string sections from the local symphonies.

I had binoculars so was able to really zoom in on stuff.
There was this one older guy in a tux playing violin who looked like all he wanted was
his paycheck and to go home. By the time they got to Kashmir about 90 minutes later
the dude was headbanging the few strands of grey he had left on his skull along with
everyone else on stage.

Priceless.

Awesome, thank you for the reccomendations, much appreciated!

I would probably remove the pickguard but other than that, all damn day!

I love Les Paul’s without pickguards but the holes (once drilled) drive my OCD through the roof if the pickguard is off

I’m with you though, wish they’d just offer Les Paul’s with pickguards in the case…that way the customer can ultimately decide if they want a pickguard or not but it’s just wishful thinking lol
