Pretty sure I'm hearing some flange underneath all that sweeping.

Wow - wow - wow. Staggering chops, but such cool phrasing in there too! And yes, killer unique lead tone that anyone would love to play or record with.
 
I always liked how these shown themselves in the hands of Necrophagist and the like. Those fat and compressed leads.

However I know what they mean when say overprocessed. To me it is like a lil bit soapy, like games on Nintendo Switch hehe

Then again, you do be shredding viciously ??

Recording they can do good too . With a loud drummer is when the problems arrive

I've only ever played a Powerball once but I thought it was dope tbh

After that I was surprised to see it got so much hate online
