Mötley Crüe 1994 s/t
Eric Claptons recent 24 Nights Rock , Blues and Orchestra CDs
Scorpions Crazy World
Lynch Mob Wicked Sensation
Ratt 1999 s/t
An Evening With The Allman Brothers sets 1 & 2

I see an SLO 30 in my future
The 30 is such a great amp. I had 6-7 really great amps here next to it for a while (Wizards, Fryettes, Marshalls) and they're all gone and the 30's still here.

I might take the plunge and get one when my wife goes back to work after summer break next month . More time to play it at decent volume and she won’t be here when it’s delivered to the house lol

I have shit delivered to work for this reason.

I dont believe you. : )

EDIT:: This is a joke for those who cant recognize a little sarcasm or cant exercise some skepticism

I think bob rock said that album was marshalls in one of his interviews?
It’s a mix of slo and marshals and a rectifier. With slo the main thing from what I was reading . Definitely a mix

I read where Mick says he blended like 5 amps.

Soldano SLO, Marshall JCM800, Rivera Bonehead...

Lots of great tones Hammered listed. I like Satriani's Soldano tones on The Extremist. I found an old interview recently where he explained more.

Ref: Australian "Sonics with Guitarist" Magazine Dec 1992. Pg 87

"I used it for New Blues and almost all of Summer Song and perhaps the solo on Rubinas Blue Sky Happiness"

FYI he states in the same interview that he used a "1969 all original Marshall 100 watt stack with original speakers and we used that for most of the record on the rhythm tracks."

To paraphrase more details: "For melodies and leads... we rented stuff from Andy Brauer rentals in LA, stuff like a Marshall 1979 combo, a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. Peavey lent us a 5150, and we rented two Soldanos, one of which was stolen. We had more Marshalls that friends lent us and maybe a JC120, but I don't know if those made it to the final edit"

There is also an interview in the same mag with Jim Martin and he talks about what he uses around the Angel Dust album, But that's for another thread, specifically talking about his Mark 3 and Mark 4 amps.

edit: some grammar issues.

edit 2: I added the actual interview snippets.

Yeah he did . But I do hear the slo pretty prominent. It just reminds me of how I set mine up . Wish I still had it

The SLO was on display at the 94 rehearsal’s . At 3:37 you can see two of them and it appears there’s three more below them
